Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Turriff Sport Relief Mile on Sunday 23rd March! In spite of the clash with Run Garioch (and the weather!), 69 people turned up to do 1, 3 or 6 miles in aid of Sport Relief’s projects at home and abroad. You all did fantastically!
Our thanks to everyone who helped on the day, especially the Turriff Air Cadets and the Scouts who stepped in at short notice to help with the marshaling.
By the way, an item of lost property was handed in to reception at the Sports Centre. We believe it was mislaid by an on-the-day entrant – so if that was you, please go and collect your missing item!
We’re now planning our own event, and if there’s one thing we’ve learnt from Sport Relief, it’s that volunteers are absolutely vital. So if you would like to get involved, then here’s what to do…
